A special professional development day with Die Dargebotene Hand 143 in Bern. Many thanks to Daniela Rohleder for the invitation. I had the opportunity to talk about my Lebensbilder project, and the accompanying exhibition was also on display. Dr Eva Birkenstock presented her book Option assistierter Suizid – Wann genug ist, entscheide ich, and Claudia Mühlhauser from EXIT spoke about living and dying with dignity and self-determination.
I was deeply impressed by the dedication of the volunteers at 143, who support people going through some of the most difficult situations in life. Their work is truly invaluable.
