Lebensbild - Phototherapy & biographical work
Every person carries a story within them. Photographs can help make them visible.
THE LIFE PORTRAIT
Life Portrait is a phototherapeutic program that supports people as they look back on their own lives, share memories, and bring important moments and relationships back into focus.
Photographs serve as both a starting point and a mirror in this process. They can awaken memories, set stories in motion, and bring to the surface feelings that may not have been present for a long time.
Together, we look at pictures, tell stories, reminisce, take photos, or create art. This creates space for what makes a person who they are—for relationships, experiences, desires, losses, and for what remains.
“The material we work with is life.” Tina Ruisinger
PALLIATIVE CARE
Phototherapy at the End of Life
When illness and physical limitations increasingly dominate one’s life, reflecting on one’s own history can open up a different perspective on oneself.
Who am I—beyond my illness? What has shaped my life? What is important to me?
BIOGRAPHICAL WORK
Photography as a Gateway to One’s Own Story
Photographs preserve people, places, relationships, and moments. In biographical work, they become a starting point for memories, conversations, and personal expression. Together, we create space for what matters in one’s own life—and for what should be preserved.
OFFER
Phototherapy, biographical guidance, and photographic creation
Lebensbild can be offered as one-on-one support or as a program within an institution.
Together, we can create, for example, life books, collages, portraits, or personal photographic works. The creative process is tailored to the individual’s capabilities, needs, and wishes.
